Our mission is to create systems and tools for artists which enable them to be as creative as possible, so they can forget about the gear and focus on creating great sound.
About Michael Ashton
Michael Ashton is an electrical and software engineer who first became involved in the audio industry in 1999, when he had a summer job at PreSonus. After graduating from university and spending seven years at Burr-Brown / Texas Instruments, he became involved in hardware and firmware development for numerous products for Line 6, M-Audio, Native Instruments, and Moog Music. While at Moog, he was system architect and firmware engineering lead for the Moog One, and invented the oscillators. He founded Ashton Research in 2016 and began developing products in 2022.
