8-channel adapter between AES72 and 1/4" TRS

The TFP8 breaks eight channels of balanced (or unbalanced) 1/4" TRS out to two AES-72 RJ-45 connections, with the 1/4" jacks mounted at right angles to the RJ45s. Pair with a TRP8 on the other side for a complete 8-channel snake replacement over standard shielded CAT-6E or CAT-8 cable. Mountable to the HF100 and HF101.

  • The TFP8 converts 8 channels of balanced TRS audio into two RJ45 connections (4 channels per RJ45, per the AES-72 standard). Use it to send outputs from a console, interface, or outboard rack into a single pair of Cat cables. 

  • No soldering. Plug your TRS cables into the 1/4" jacks like any other rack gear, then connect standard Cat cable to the RJ45s — same jack format as your router. That's the whole install.
